Bea Alonzo and Sam Milby’s “And I Love You So” will also be shown this year. The movie will be directed by Laurenti “Lauren” Dyogi. “And I Love You So” is the story of young woman (Alonzo) who lost her husband. In her solitude, he will meet a man (Milby) who is a complete opposite of her late husband. It also stars hunk actor Derek Ramsay.

Sarah Geronimo is also set to do her third film with actor John Lloyd Cruz, her leading man in box-office hits “A Very Special Love” and sequel “You Changed My Life.” The film is entitled “Someone Like You” where Bea Alonzo is part of the cast. The Filipino version of the TV series “I Love Betty La Fea,” adaptation from Colombian soap opera “Yo soy Betty, la fea (I am Betty, the ugly one),” will have its finale in three weeks. According to Daniella (Ruffa Gutierrez) in TV Patrol interview, “Nakaka-miss din pero like eveything, when the show ends, there’s new things that we are going to be hoping for,” she said.

Gutierrez invited the viewers to watch for her “slapping scenes” with Bea Alonzo, who plays Betty in the near finale of the tv series. “I’d like to fake it kaso sabi ni direk kailangan totoo.”

Actress-Singer Bea Alonzo, hunk actors Derek Ramsay and Sam Milby will be doing a film from Star Cinema. They started shooting last November 26 directed by Laurenti Dyogi.

This new project is a shift from her usual light-comedy romance films to more heavy drama. Rumors lately spread over showbiz tabloids that Jake Cuenca and Bea Alonzo are dating, that the two were seen going out together. Some think he is the newfound love of Alonzo after the actress broke up with actor Mico Palanca. John Lloyd Cruz, Bea’s former onscreen partner also revealed in one of his interviews that Bea had a crush on Jake. Lloydie said that when they were still doing Maging Sino Ka Man, Bea would comment on how handsome Jake was when they caught the actor’s teleserye Palos on TV during breaks.

The long-time on-screen partner of actress Bea Alonzo has a new love team in the person of the country’s Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo.
