The newest PBB season officially starts tonight, April 10. This is the third teen edition of Pinoy Big Brother will welcome teen housemates from different regions in the Philippines and even from outside the country. Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzales and Mariel Rodriguez will reprise their roles as hosts of the show. The Pinoy Big Brother house gets a new look for summer as its interior has been renovated.

There are sixteen housemates who were chosen to compete in this Teen Edition. Fifteen entered the house on Day 1. Seven housemates who lived simple lives were placed in the Villa (House A), while eight housemates with affluent backgrounds or interests inhabit the Apartment (House B).
A female teen who was supposed to enter the Villa as the 16th housemate was not yet cleared to participate due to medical reasons. In case she is not cleared by doctors and staff by Day 2, a male alternate would take her place. Either way, the 16th housemate would make their entrance on Day 2.
