Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 scholars now preparing and practicing their performances for the upcoming 8th Gala Performance Night. The Mentors chose the songs to be performed by each scholars. The 7th Gala Night Probationary Scholars Apple, Laarni and Miguel will be singing “Sweet Love” by Anita Baker, “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, and “True” by Spandau Ballet respectively.
Bugoy will sing George Michael’s “As”, Cris with Jordin Sparks’ “Tattoo”, Side A’s “Hold On” for Sen, “Lady Maramalade” from Moulin Rouge for Bunny, Al Jarreau’s “Spain” for Iñaki, The Emotions’ “Best Of My Love” for Liezel, Bamboo’s “Tatsulok” for Van, and Barbara Streisand’s “A Piece Of Sky” for Poy.
The weekly showdown between Poy and Bugoy will be seen this Saturday will be showing off what their vocal chords can do through Regine Velasquez’s “Narito Ako.” The viewers will also witness who will be the expelled from the three on probation scholars, will it be Apple, Miguel or Laarni?

To the PDA season 2 mentors: Again and again sa susunod don’t ever show favoritism ha? Para tiwala and yong hanga namin sa ABS-CBN hindi madadamay. Do your job fairly, honestly, professionally and Godly. Don’t make the viewers change a channel to view to. This is just a friendly comment and advised.

feeling ko parang pareho pa rin iyong nangyari kay charice. Laarni has the best voice but she might experience the same fate as Charice. I also like zel and Bugoy but Laarni has that so called ‘it’. I respect the jurors judgment but give Laarni and zel the same song and presto!!! at doon mo talaga malalaman kung sino talaga sa kanila ang magaling. Besides the soulful/powerful voice of laarni, what i like about her most is she’s just being truthful to herself and eventually she will surpass those trials and would make her a strong and better person and a successful excellent performer. lately, i happened to watch some episode that the true color of liezel ay lumabas kaya i am so disappointed with her. hopr abs cbn which is my favorite channel pa mandin, ay magiging fair sa judging nila. you let laarni sing “listen” and liezel “di ko kayang tanggapin”. wag naman kayong unfair pls.

Magaling si Laarni pero mas magaling pa sa kanya si Liezel at Poy. Birit queen lang si Laarni kaya parang siya ang pinakamagaling. Masakit sa tenga ang mga birit niya.

Tingnan mo naman pumiyok na si Liezel at Poy…ewn ko ba kung paano sila nag grade…i can say may FAVORATISM talaga…paano kaya kung kay Liezel pinakanta ang BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY siguro hindi lang piyok kundi IYOK hahahaha…basta we will continue to support Laarni kasi obvious na ayaw sa kanya ng co-scholar at mentor….I bet mentor will save Sen tapos co-scholar si Bunny ….so maiiwan si Miguel at Laani so this time and until the end of PDA suportahan natin si Laarni….GO GO GO Laarni

Ooy walang pumapalakpak kay Liezl ng na guest sa ASAP? Hoooo kawawa naman. E siguro di ko na alam anong nangyayari sa ABS kasi hindi na kami nanonood sa mga shows nila. Yon ba ang top scholar? Yakksss meaning hindi siya deserving. Balita ko ng kumanta si Laarni last 8th gala night ang daming pumapalakpak at ang sabi pa ni Louie O. na it started with a boom kasi it surprises daw sa kanya, and sa 3 first performances si Laarni ang magaling. Di ba si Laarni ang naunang nagperformed? Hay naku!!! si Lord nalang rin ang bahala sa inyo diyan mentors at jurors except Gerald.

Kaya Laarnz, mas maganda pakingan Laarnz di ba kasi you are worth to all of us. Keep being humble. Actually I was touched by his brother’s saying na yes iyakin talaga si Laarni pero maprinsipyong tao. Dinadaan niya sa iyak ang lahat na disappointments niya but she’s an intelligent woman. Education course pala siya no, nababasa ko sa resume niya. Kaya nga malapit siya sa mga bata. Remember the little dreamers gave her a lot of stars before. Pero sige lang Laarnz kasi may sinasabi na kung minaliit at they put you down, God will bring you up. Keep my word, you are part of our prayers.. Keep being humble, offer your songs to Him because one day come your in born talent will give high praise to God. Take the advised of Gary V. Stay as what you are… if you failed because of there pre-judgment, you are still precious to the viewers. Keep it up i know you can surpass that.. God Bless Laarnz.. take care dear.

I’m a fun of laarni, thanx God xa ang nakakuha ng highest grade follwed by bugoy which is my 2nd best favr8, syayng tlga poi d nakasali before ba… anyways ang galing galing nila tatlo kagabi…thanks at nakabalik na gerard salonga hehehehehehehehehe, wala kau mga mentors ngaun favoritism kau masyado very obvious na masyado…. ano ka ngaun liezel d out ka na… pangit pangit ng boses nya kagabi with her duet with poi…. hehehe sama pakinggan ng boses nya parang naipit. galing ni poi. LAARNI TRULLY DESERVES THE HIGHEST AWARD OF BEING THE GRAND STAR DREAMER.
I always feel her sincerity in every performances and dedication and passion in her singing. Sobrang lawak ng capabilities ng boses nya. And even without so beautiful and exotic face, her beauty from within compensate it all. And kahit hindi masyadong unique ang boses niya, for me her versatility and vocal power have out-classed everyone in her batch.
She’s such a jewel and truly a big star in the making.
Yes there are certain favoritism surrounded the academy and just and fair have prevailed. Yung pagkapanalo ni Laarni vindicated all those people who believe in her talent. Lahat ng forums and polls it shows how much CHARISMA and TALENT LAARNI HAVE OVER THE OTHER.
Her performances is not yet flawless (and wala naman flawless sa kanila, sa batch ng season 2), but her voice quality and the emotions and choreograph she put into her song eh magkaakma. She is energetic with class on stage. Hindi boring pero hindi OA.
She definitely deserve the title.
Sana mas pagbutihan niya pa, mas sipagan, more to learn and more work to do. Basta stay healthy, and stay focus and also keep the faith alive. More prayers and more perseverance for you to achieve the real success of the real world.
Sobrang iba ang showbiz compared sa 4corners ng academy, you have to be tough at the same time real para malagpasan ang hirap. Fulfill your destiny and lahat ng naninwala sa talento mo WE WILL SUPPORT YOU ALL THE WAY!!!!
