Lovers in Paris is an upcoming television series on ABS-CBN. It has been confirmed that Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion will portray the role of Carlo and Vivian respectively. This is the third SBS Korean Drama and Romantic Comedy series remake of ABS-CBN, the first being My Girl and the second is Only You. The airing of this series is set for July, 2009.

I have to admit. Philippines has no originality and is stuck into copy-paste method of creating TV series. KC, on the other hand is such a bad and poor actress. I have to be honest. “For The First Time” was hit because the people are curious of how will a KC Concepcion, daughter of two Philippine entertainment icon legends – Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, acts. In addition, it was the first time that GMA and ABS-CBN teamed up and Richard Gutierrez from the other network is paired to her. Now, just look at what happened of her second movie- it SUCKS! It wasn’t hit and I bet it earned not as much as the first movie.
ABS-CBN, “LOVERS IN PARIS” will be a great failure, I tell you if you pursue KC as Vivian. Find other worthy actresses that are funny and known for their childish characters just like Vivian. (e.g. Toni Gonzaga)
KC DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO ACT.Please do reconsider my comment to avoid mistakes. Do not give roles to someone just because her/his parents are famous. Some good trees do not bear good fruits.

i can’t wait to watch this teleserye with Piolo. i’m sure, magiging okay din with KC. let’s give the girl credit naman kasi merong potential naman in acting.
i hope piolo will be teamed up again with bea, though in a super drama movie. when that happens, i will be the first in line to watch. bea, KC and anne are my favorite actresses.
No questions on KC whether she’d be a better actress on tv or movie than on stage plays. My only quiry that’s been long time bothering sort of.. is WHEN WILL PIOLO UNVEIL HIS TRUE IDENTITY? Nagladlad na si BB Gandanghari and was brave at that…si PIOLO nahihirapang e project ang sarili pag hindi nag a-act dahil napaka efiminate kumilos…pigil na pigil ang movements. Mag ladlad na kaya ka PIOLO! Naaawa ang sambayanan sa yong pagkukunwaring lalake ka…! bading ka eh!
okay naman si KC, it just takes time. i believe she has the potential naman.
i like her, too with bea, anne and toni. sana next time, piolo bea din. tsaka i’ve seen piolo in person, i don’t think he’s gay. maganda lang talaga yung tabas ng mukha niya kaya napagkakamalang gay. he’s such a nice person.

LIP is the
LIP is the 1st koreanovela I watched and found it really good. The actors were very effective and with the Philippine re-make….I cannot hope much. No offense to our actors but I feel sad that the chosen actors do not come close to how great the korean actors were. Too raw, too soon, too risky, too much of a stretch for them.
They say they will not stick too much to the korean intent and will give it a filipino twist…its still a remake therefore, it has to come close to the original thing. The pair in the remake does not have chemistry….I just watched the first few episodes and can already predict that it will not go far. If ratings goes up, I give credit to the followers of the pair BUT definitely it will not be because of their acting prowess. How pathetic for our TV industry. Saddening really.
I have no bad feellinngs to KC (actually I admire her upbringing) but definitely I saw her acting on tv it was SO BAD, hilaw pa yung acting skills niya iba kasi yung acting on stage compare on screen,nagmukha tuloy siyang amature actress compare to maricar. Sana naman pinaworkshop muna siya bago isinalang sa big projects na ganito, sayang LIP is one of the best koreanovela made (or just because the koreans actors in LIP is just so darn good)
It should be renamed to Lovers in Manila. The setting doesn’t go well with the title anymore.
It’s about to end. Why so soon??? After all that big hoopla on publicity, that alleged real-life courtship stunts, that enormous talent fee, and that expensive production (imagine going to Paris to shoot the scenes), matatapos na?
This must be the shortest running tele-whatever in RP primetime history. Was the rate of return too meager? Hmmm… Why kaya???
I do like KC, but I think she was mis-cast for this role. She does not have chemistry with Piolo. It’s really hard to watch the dramatic scenes because of the awkwardness of KC’s acting.
kc is so awkward to watch when she’s acting – it’s simply NOT RIGHT & not comfortable to watch her act.. ugh. ABS-CBN please STOP making movies & soaps/series w/ her in it.. ACTING is NOT FOR HER. ENOUGH ALREADY, PLEASE.
