ABS-CBN will soon launch their new tv series “Lorenzo’s Time,” featuring the country’s most famous child stars, Zaijan Jaranilla, hunk actor Dieter Ocampo and veteran actress Carmina Villaroel. In this upcoming teleserye, Zaijan Jaranilla also known as Santino (in his first Teleserye, “May Bukas Pa”) plays the role of Lorenzo or Enzo, a child who was stricken by “Progeria.”

Progeria (also known as “Hutchinson–Gilford Progeria Syndrome”, “Hutchinson–Gilford syndrome”, and “Progeria syndrome”) is an extremely rare genetic disease of childhood characterized by dramatic, premature aging. The condition, which derives its name from “geras,” the Greek word for old age, is estimated to affect one in 4 million newborns worldwide. Those born with progeria typically live to their mid teens and early twenties. It is a genetic condition that occurs as a new mutation (de novo), and is rarely inherited.
So, if this will be accepted wholeheartedly by the child wonder’s fans, that’s remain to be seen. But if it would pursue on having a Jaranilla-Villaroel-Ocampo love triangle, it is something that the Filipino viewers should watch for.
Dieter Ocampo plays a role of a boyfriend of actress Carmina Villaroel. “Lorenzo’s Time” also stars Gina Pareno, Alfred Vargas, Amy Austria and a lot more.
