Loading ...Eraserheads Reunion Concert stops, Ely Buendia rushed to hospital
Around 10pm tonight August 30, Saturday the Reunion Concert of the most popular Filipino band of the 1990s who broke up last 2002 suddenly stopped because the frontman of the band suffered a chest pain that may lead to a heart attack according to reports. The Eheads vocalist Ely Buendia was rushed to hospital right away in the middle of the concert held at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field.
Singer/Song Writer Ely Buendia had a previous heart attack in January 2007. On August 28, Buendia’s mother passed away due to cardiac arrest but he decided to push through with the concert anyway.
Ely’s sister announced to the audience about the situation saying “…we regret to inform you that due to my brother’s poor health…because of being emotional and physical stress that he is experiencing we apologize for cutting the concert short.”
According other band member Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro, they haven’t noticed that Ely was suffering chest pain already after performing fifteen songs. They were supposed to have their twenty minutes break when Ely was rushed to the hospital.

I had fun though. It was a rare opportunity and just by having the chance to see them play again together as one band, I think its priceless and worth the wait!

I really wish that they will make a part 2 reunion concert because eraserhead was always been my favorite band even now I play there music it always reminds me of my high school years hehehehe… Pareng Ely pagaling ka at continue nyo ang reunion!!!
