“Dayo” – Philippines’ first all-digital full-lenght animated film

The film is due for release in December 2008 and a official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. It is the first Filipino all-digital full-length animated feature film for kids directed by Robert Quilao. The story revolves around Bubuy who has to save his grandparents who were abducted and brought to the strange land called Elementalia, which is home to a host of strange creatures like the “manananggal” and werewolves.

The film features the voices of Laurice Guillen, Peque Gallaga, Nova Villa, Noel Trinidad, Pokwang and Michael V. The musical scoring was conducted by Gerald Salonga, while the theme song was performed by international artist Lea Salonga.
