Daryl (Jett) Celis is 21 from Rizal. He is a son of an OFW, a bar owner in Japan. He auditioned in Pasay with his grandmother, whom he calls his lucky charm.

Where do you get your musical talent from?
All of us in the family sings my mom and dad loves to sing.

What are your hobbies?
I play basketball, playstation, listening to music all the time, internet games.

What music do you listen to?
Eric Benet, Voices of Theory, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown.

Can you play any musical instrument, if so what and to what level?
I can do guitar, if I have a song hits I can play also organ but not good.

Why did you apply for Pinoy Idol?
To have a career. I want to reach my dreams. I want this life. For my family.

Which singers inspire you and why?
Balck singers. They are very soulful, very good performers and one thing, Justin Timberlake.

What’s your claim to fame?
God, talent, discipline and commitment is my claim to fame.

What 3 things would you take to a desert island with you?
Water, shoes and cellphone/knife.

Who in your life has been most inspiring to you? How?
My lola. Kasi siya nagalaga sa amin na hindi napagod kahit walang kasama (patay na kasi lolo namin) nagtiyaga siya.
