After her performance in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where Degeneres gave Pempengco an iPod because she had lost hers during her flight to the US. Now, this pride of the Philippines lost her passport and other important things when robbers (Salisi Gang other say it’s Bukas Kotse Gang) strike while she and her mother, Raquel was eating dinner in Calamba, Laguna February 26 Wednesday night. Pempengco said they had stopped for dinner at Tuding’s Restaurant in Calamba with their driver and helper. After 30 minutes, they returned to their Toyota Hi-Ace van (XGM-508) and were suprised to discover that her mom’s black Lacoste bag was missing which contained two mobile phones (p910i sony ericson and T610), their passports, wallets, ATM cards, the keys to their house and other personal things.
But despite of this bad news Pempengco is still going to London second week this month of March in “The Paul O’Grady Show”. She has scheduled guest appearances too on ABS-CBN variety show ASAP ’08 this Sunday and in Wowowee on March 15 and 17. Another good news: Charice is scheduled to go to New York for the negotiations with Disney. If the project pushes through according to rumors, she may do some recordings and may become part of the High School Musical 3. This Filipina singer who became a singing sensation throughout the world through YouTube will be celebrating her 15th birthday this coming May 10 and sure be doing a mini-concert in ABS-CBN.
