Binibining Pilipinas titlist quarrel in Boracay

Most celebrity visit boracay island for the holy week vacation to relax and have fun but that’s not what happened to Binibining Pilipinas-World 2008 Danielle Castaño. She was one of the figures in a brawl to a businesswoman named Mary Ann Berroya in boracay as reported in 24 Oras last Tuesday. According to Danielle, she was with beauty queens Margarette Wilson and Abigail Cruz in one bar when an unknown guy from Berroya’s group confronted them why they were talking about him. 

“He went up to me, then he started screaming at me tapos sinampal niya ako. Hindi naman ‘ata tama ‘yon. Hinagis ko sa kanya ‘yung bag ko. It was self-defense. Pagkahagis ko sa kanya he went up to me again and he was trying to punch me so I kicked him,” Danielle explained.

Mary Ann did not gave anymore story about the incident but made an statement, “I am from here. We welcome people all over the world and we don’t want any problem. We are trying to promote Boracay as a friendly (place) but it happens kasi sometimes when people are under the influence of alcohol, they lose control.”

The incident was supposed to be settled already but when Danielle watched the interview of showbiz news reporter Lhar Santiago to Mary Ann, Danielle is now demanding for a public apology from Berroya. “…besides i don’t know them para pagkamalan nila ako, mga lasing sila nung nagsasama sila, akala ko sincere ‘yung apology nila sa anu (precinct) pero when you (Lhar Santiago) interviewed them nagkaiba-iba eh.”
