The 28th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies was held last Wednesday, March 14 at Meralco Theater and Miss Locsin bagged the Movie Best Actress of the Year trophy for her performance in the movie “In the Name of Love.”
Filipina Actress Angel Locsin bagged the 28th PMPC Movie Best Actress of the Year
Her rumored boyfriend, Philippine Azkals’ striker Phil Younghusband, who’s now in Nepal preparing for tomorrow’s semifinals match against Turkmenistan, congratulated Locsin for her newest achievement via the Twitter.

,” Younghusband tweeted.
This Star Cinema film also took home the major acting award, Movie Actor of The Year for Aga Muhlach, as well as Movie Supporting Actor of The Year for Jake Cuenca.
“In the Name of Love” screenwriters Olivia Lamasan and Enrico Santos also won the award for Best Original Screenplay.
