Survivor Philippines is the upcoming Philippine version of the reality television series Survivor. Veteran TV host Paolo Bediones has been chosen to host the show. At the first audition in Davao, Bediones revealed that the prize money will be the largest in the history of reality shows in the Philippines: in addition to the title of Sole Survivor, the contestant who lasts the longest will also win 3,000,000 pesos (US$70,000).
Auditions were held in six Philippine cities in May 2008.From these interviews, approximately 18 contestants will be selected to participate on the show in June 2008. The show was shot in Ko Tarutao, the same island where Survivor: Thailand took place, from July to August, 2008.
This series starts on September 15, 2008. While the show will be aired as a daily show rather than a weekly one, all elements of the Survivor franchise are otherwise present. The names of the tribes are derived from the Thai language: Tribe Jarakay (which is the Thai word for crocodile) carries the blue color while Tribe Naak (which is the Thai word for snake) carries the red color. For identification, each castaway has to wear a buff, an elastic material with the logo and color of their tribe.
Here are the 18 names (9 women and 9 men) that will compete for the title of the first Pinoy Sole Survivor in 39 days.

10. Reynaldo “Jace” Chanco Flores, Jr., 19 - Hunky Martial Arts/Gym Instructor
11. John Anthony Lopez, 27 - Auto Mechanic/Model
12. Cesar “Gigit” Sulit, 48 - Web Designer/Mountaineer
13. Marlon Carmen, 30 - Waiter
14. John Carlo “JC” Tiuseco, 23 - Basketball Player
15. Emerson Dino, 31 - Technician
16. Crisanto “Cris” Cartagenas, 30 - Company/Taxi Driver
17. Raymund Francis “Kiko” Rustia, 27 - Model/Businessman

From the very start , I really wanted Cris or Mommy Zita to be one of the best 4 among the castaways…Mommy Zita will truly survive a life far away from civilization.Cris is not the good in water but he could build a shelter. Moomy will provide the food and cris for the shelter
